At The Lotus Project, our team of
Developmental Educators (DEs) work alongside individuals, families and support teams to help people achieve their personal goals and live more independently.
Our
DEs provide comprehensive assessments, personalised recommendations and practical skill development plans in areas such as:
Emotional Regulation - Building strategies to understand and manage emotions.
Transitions Through Phases of Life - Supporting changes at school, work or home.
Daily Living - Fostering independence in everyday tasks.
Social Skills - Enhancing communication, connection, and participation.
We also have
Developmental Assistants (DAs) who work under the guidance of our DEs to deliver hands on, skill building support. Their role ensures strategies are not only taught but also embedded into daily routines, making progress practical and more sustainable.
Our
Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) team focus on evidence-based, person-centred approaches that not only address the behaviours of concern but also look deeper to understand and respond to the underlying functions of the behaviours.
Our
PBS Practitioners work in two important ways – behind the scenes to develop tailored strategies, and directly alongside individuals, families, and support teams to put those strategies into action. We believe meaningful
CHANGE happens through genuine connections, and the strongest connections are built face-to-face.
Our team are located at our head office, in Athol Park but we travel!
